FYI, There's more 39 Clues

Were you heartbroken when you reached the end of the 39 Clues: Into the Gauntlet because you thought that was the end? Well, don't fret, there's more to come. A new series called 39 Clues: Cahills Versus Vespers will be launched in April of 2011 and the first book in the series is called Vespers Rising written by Rick Riordan, Peter Lerangis, Gordon Korman and Jude Watson. April is only 7 months away!

Also on August 31 at 4:00 pm all ten authors of the series will do a live webcast to answer all of those lingering questions. Tween Movie Night: Eragon

Eragon is an orphaned farm boy whose destiny is sealed forever when a mystic stone chooses him for it's keeper. This is no ordinary stone, this is the last surviving egg of the dragon race. Eragon is now the new Dragon Rider, the boy who will be the savior to the repressed peoples of the kingdom. The kingdom is rules by the wicked King Galbatorix and his evil wizard Durza. The time has come! We are now signing up for the Summer Reading Club. Here's how it works:
1) Come to the Library
2) Get a reading log
3) Read (books, magazines, comics, audiobooks, etc.)
4) Read for 6 hours
6) Come back to the Library to pick up reward
7)Repeat
It really is that easy! Sign ups go through August 7.
Rewards can be claimed up until September 7.

Make a Splash - Read! Summer Reading Club is Almost Here

School is almost over and it's just about time to sign up for the summer reading club!
It's easy. Just sign up and get a reading log, read books and win prizes.
Sign up begins on Tuesday, June 22 and runs through August.

We have tons of fantastic tween programs this summer beginning with our Tweens Kickoff on Wednesday, June 30 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Stop by to meet friends, practice your skills on the Wii, enjoy snacks, and sign up for the summer reading club (if you haven't done it already).

Wimpy Kid News


Attention Wimpy Kid fans: Book five in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series will be due out on Tuesday, November 9. The title has not been revealed yet, but the book will have a purple cover. We don't really know what the story is about yet, but Jeff Kinney did say that Greg and Rowley will have some changes to deal with. Let the speculation begin!
