In February, 2009 the Connecticut Library Association and the Connecticut Association of School Librarians announced the 2009 book awards for Tween readers. The Nutmeg Award encourages tweens from grades 4 - 8 to read quality literature, and choose their favorites from a list of ten nominated titles. So, if you are stuck for good reading suggestions, check out the Nutmeg Awards !!!!
